The Summer Reading Program 2024 has begun!

36 kids were in attendance at Story Time on Monday, & there’s room for more to join the fun. 🙂

Mrs. Loomis started us off by “Going on a Bear Hunt” with the kids (story by Michael Rosen).

And we read In the Tall, Tall Grass, where lots & lots of critters live.

We added stickers to our NEW mosaic picture… Ocean? Sky? Outer Space? … there were lots of good guesses.

Each week we’ll add more colors to figure it out!

The kids did an AWESOME job decorating their book bags…

I’m always inspired by their creativity!!

They also created shoe rubbings to help decorate the library & then received outdoor camping mazes to solve.

Kids learned how to earn tickets to try to win one of three GIANT Pokemon floaties. (One entry per week- open to YA participants & younger)

And, as everyone left (after checking out books), they chose a Brag Tag & a sweet or salty snack.
