Week #5:

From a rebar outline, anchored in concrete, to the careful stacking of concrete blocks & cement, higher & higher, the library’s future Storm Shelter/restroom is beginning to take shape.

So thankful that this feature of the addition was funded by generous donations.  As motivational speaker/author Zig Ziglar said:

“Expect the best. Prepare for the worst. Capitalize on what comes.”

Having a place to go when severe weather threatens, gives peace of mind…. especially when kids are afoot with no place to go.

They are also working on the existing roof-line, preparing to tie into it with the new roof.  A little noisy, yes, but WE ARE STILL OPEN during regular hours!  This hammering is welcome & wonderful!
