In the interest of taking the Pass for a test run 😉 I was able to check out their Summer exhibition- the works of Annie Leibovitz.  SOOOO many famous photos that were featured in Vanity Fair, Rolling Stone, & more. 

Of course, I also had to admire some Chihuly glass art along the way!

And, speaking of getting out of town– the results are in from this summer’s Library Crawl– hosted by the Wellington Public Library.

There were 522 official entries & 25 participating libraries.  Seven people made it to EVERY library, and the Macksville City Library had 15 ‘Crawlers.’  A random drawing yielded two winners, who each received $115 in gift cards!  One of the winners specifically mentioned Macksville as being “the most excited to see someone on the library crawl.” 🙂

We did love showing off our little library to everyone who dropped by for the crawl.  Hope they enjoyed their ‘cool swag’ spatulas!

Plans are already in the works to make the Crawl even bigger next year!
