Our 3rd Story Hour featured a program sponsored by the Kansas Wetlands Education Center & presented by educator Pam Martin.

The Animal Hero program highlighted animal SUPER Powers.  The 38 attendees (plus 9 adults & teens) enjoyed learning about the Grasshopper Mouse, Screech Owl, Great Horned Owl, Rattlesnake, Jumping Spider and Bat.  We saw living examples of each animal (besides the Great Horned Owl with the glass eyes!), & we learned about each animal’s SUPER Power. Some pretty AMAZING stuff!  The kids had LOTS of questions and were captivated by these incredible critters.
