Baby Plants & One Big Butterfly!
Our Sticker Collage is complete!!!
Can you guess HOW MANY stickers there are?
We began the summer with a blank poster covered with squares & letters, accompanied by pages & pages of colored 1/2″ stickers.
Each story hour the kids would guess what the picture might be… everything from flowers & Minecraft to frogs & jungles. Plus, one early guess of a butterfly (Way to go, Addison!).
MANY, MANY hands worked together to make the collage complete (and yes, some stickers are kinda crooked… but it takes ALL of the stickers to make the picture complete!)
These three kiddos happened to be the ones who added the final stickers… & then helped count the squares (or at least how tall & wide it was)… for the Grand Total of 4,070 stickers!
TEAM-Work for the Win!
If you drop by the library to see our butterfly, check out books, send a fax, print off homework, snag some flour (only a few bags left!), or put together a puzzle (all things people have been doing this week!), you might consider taking home a baby spider plant (or the whole bunch!). Our ‘mother’ plant has been productive and needs to focus ‘growing energy’ elsewhere. As the sign says: “Cleaner air, good listeners, no vet bills, so cheap to feed, a Feng Shui ‘must,’ the benefits are endless.” Consider adopting one today! 🙂
