Macksville’s first Summer Reading Story Hour was June 5th, and the library was FULL of energetic kids in construction hats! 🙂

       “THANKS“ to Smoky Hills Public Television and their Share-A-Story program for helping put on this fun event. Thirty-seven kids got to hear a story, build a group structure, watch an episode of Bob the Builder, play “Bob Says” (like Simon Says 🙂 ), and take home a book of their very own.  “Thanks,” also, to Jessica and her ‘big’ helper for bringing this program to Macksville. 🙂

 Our next Summer Reading program for kids 6th and under will be June 12th.  All ages can still sign up for Summer Reading. Come join the fun as we Build a Better World in Macksville, KS and beyond.
