Curbside Earth Day Event
Let’s celebrate 50 years of Earth Day while practicing social distancing & abiding by health mandates!
Curbside event: 10:30am-12 noon Thursday, April 23rd.*
To pick up Earth Day treats, stop by the library and please, stay in your vehicle. Helpers will deliver goodies to each person in the vehicle, while supplies last. Helpers will be wearing masks and gloves as they distribute materials. Participants on foot will be encouraged not to linger, and we ask that you stay home if you feel ill.
In keeping with the Stay At Home order from the Governor, this program coincides with the time frame that many kids/families will be going to the grade school to pick up lunches. It also coincides with the time residents may be walking for exercise or to pick up the mail.
*Moved to Thursday, April 23rd due to the forecast of rain/storms on April 22nd

Want to challenge your brain and earn an extra treat? Memorize one of the following Earth Day quotes or poems, & recite it to one of our helpers when you stop by the library! 🙂
Clouds
White sheep, white sheep,
On a blue hill,
When the wind stops,
You all stand still.
When the wind blows,
You walk away slow.
White sheep, white sheep,
Where do you go?
