Our third Story Hour featured guest speaker Leona Breeden from Smoky Hills Public Television.

She brought along her friends from the kids’ favorite PBS shows (see Martha, above!), and she shared with us an episode of Curious George.  In the episode, Curious George learns a little about measuring, and the Man With the Yellow Hat learns how to keep his hat on his head… even when riding a roller coaster! 🙂

Afterwards, the kids all made paper plate hats (some like the Man With the Yellow Hat, and others in a rainbow of colors!)  See some their creations below.

The program ended with a reading of the classic story: Caps for Sale! written by Esphyr Slobodkina.  And, all 32 kids received a book, activity book & licorice whip!
