The Macksville City Library was excited to offer a movie screening at the grade school of  “The Daniel Tiger Movie: Won’t You Be Our Neighbor?” courtesy of KPTS-Channel 8.

We’ve shown the movie to the Pre-K, Kindergarten and 1st grade classes, and many kids were already fans of the show, with one boy even sporting a “Tigertastic!” backpack! 🙂

Students received a bag of animal crackers to munch on while watching the movie. KPTS provided activity books for the kids, full of fun stickers. We played a Daniel Tiger Memory Game, and kids earned Owl pencils when they made a match.  They also colored cards to give to their real-life Neighbors. 🙂
