Earth Day Every Day!
It was a BEAUTIFUL Earth Day at the Macksville City Library!
We hosted a special Explore the Outdoors Screening on April 22nd courtesy of KPTS- Channel 8.
After watching a new Earth Day episode of “Ready, Jet Go!” everyone headed outside to make colorful Earth Day “posters” on the sidewalk squares in front of the library. Some kids chose to commemorate the first Earth Day in 1970, while others drew the earth or their favorite things on earth, such as flowers and bunnies!
We also planted marigold seeds to brighten the library ramp in the hopefully near future… and many kids took seeds home to plant.
Everyone received stickers & bracelets to wear & jigglers to eat. 🙂
Happy Earth Day!
