BCC- Haunting On the Hill 4

Barton Performing Arts Department and students invite the community to celebrate the creative side of the Halloween season with the family-friendly “Haunting on the Hill 4” event from 3-6 p.m. Oct. 26 in the Fine Arts Building.

This year, the family-friendly event has a Victorian flare and offers free activities including fall-time games, a Barton Pep Band performance, rides on the Next-Tech Express Train, forensics activity booths, a visit from creepy-crawly animals, story-time for young children, and artmaking & face painting with the Shafer Gallery Art Cart, and more. There will also be a classic horror haunted house for ages 10 years and up for $5 per trip. The event will include the popular costume contest with prizes for child, teen, adult, group, and wild card categories.

The schedule of events is as follows:

3:15-3:30 p.m. – Stories from a Mostly Good Witch (for little Ghouls)

3-5:45 p.m. – Fall-Time Fun Game Room

3-5:45 p.m. – Halloween Crafts & Face Painting by the Shafer Gallery Art Cart  (Glen and Elaine Mull Classroom Outreach)

3-4:15 p.m. – Mystery Booths-Sherlock Holms Finger Printing, Count Vlad’s Blood Typing, & Creepy Critters

3-4:30 p.m. – The Next-Tech Express Train (outside the Fine Arts Building)

4-5:30 p.m. – Fiendish Fortuneteller

4-4:15 p.m. – Stories from a Mostly Good Witch (for little Ghouls)

4:30- 5:00 p.m. – Costume Contest & performance by the Prowling Pep Band

5-7 p.m. – Classic Horror Haunted House (ages 10 years & up) admission $5

Only cash will be accepted for the haunted house. Those wanting to participate in the costume contest can sign up in advance at shows.bartonccc.edu or register in person at the event.
