Our third Story Hour, on the official first day of SUMMER, was attended by 39 kids. After stories, like Yaks Yak and a sports quiz, these thoughtful kids made sporty cards to give to others.  From get well cards and birthday cards to Happy First Day of Summer cards, the sentiments were sure to bring smiles 🙂  to all who received them!

Our fourth Story Hour’s focus was on fueling up our bodies for success. After reading There Was a Coyote Who Swallowed a Flea (Yippee-O-Ki-Yee!), we talked about the five food groups and played a grocery over & under relay game. 44 kids scored a wristband & decorated water bottle labels (bottles courtesy of GBT) that showed how water FUELED them up to do their favorite activities.
