First Ever Stuffie Sleepover!
We are so THANKFUL to SCKLS for the $500 New Program grant, so that we could host our very first Stuffie Sleepover!
The South Central Kansas Library System assists member libraries to provide excellent service to their communities. And, grants like this help us try new things each year. (If you have an idea for a future fun new program, please let your librarian know!)
We are also THANKFUL for Mrs. Wolff’s MHS FCCLA group and their AMAZING help prepping snacks, props, & games for the kids who attended. They give back to their Community in so many positive ways!
We had 17 kids in attendance at the program, 11 parents, & 21 teen & adult helpers. Most kids dressed in their pjs & brought along a stuffed animal, but it was not a requirement! (We have some fun Stuffies at the library who were very happy to be adopted for the evening! 🙂 )
During the program, kids decorated name tags for their stuffies (thankfully there were no duplicate critters!).
Then, they played a variety of games with the FCCLA crew.
So clever!
