Dec. 1st was Macksville’s 5th Country Christmas Celebration.  The theme was the candy cane, and we purchased a new copy of  The Legend of the Candy Cane for the event.  We were happy to read Christmas stories to the kids as they gathered in the school’s multipurpose room for story-time, crafts, visits with Mr. & Mrs. Claus, and the chance to whack treat-filled pinatas.

The evening concluded with a parade, community meal, dance demonstration, door prizes and raffle prizes.  Mark your calendars for the first Saturday in December for next year’s celebration!!!!

Also, 25 participants have signed up for our Maintain Don’t Gain program.  Christmas packets will be sent out soon.  Keep moving and eating right! 

Final weigh-ins will be Jan. 2nd or 5th.
