Some participants chose to log their books on ReaderZone, while others stuck to the paper & pencil method.  Those who turned in paper reading logs gave a quick summary or a quote to ponder from the titles they read.  Here are just some of the favorites from Summer Reading 2020:

Beautiful Boy by David Sheff:  Addiction= the most devastating disease of all.

Wings of Fire- The Hive Queen by Tui T. Sutherland: “The truth can be a powerful weapon.”

A Walk Along the Beach by Debbie Macomber: Love, forgiveness, sisters, family, health, I loved this book!

Before We Were Yours by Lisa Wingate: The heart always knows where it belongs.

Savage Sam by Fred Gipson: Loving, funny, intriguing– on the edge of your seat!

They say you  can’t judge a book by it’s cover… Both of these titles (from 2020 & from 1962) made our favorite titles of the summer list.  🙂

(We will, however,  be looking for newer copies of Savage Sam (and Old Yeller) to replace our very well-loved & tattered editions!)  Gotta ♥ the classics!
