February is a good month to celebrate LOVE, books & friends! 

During February, patrons (of all ages) are invited to create a Valentine for a favorite book character! (The Valentine can be from you or from another character in the book!) Supplies are at the library, or you can use creative supplies from home.

Everyone who submits a Bookish Valentine for our poster will receive stickers, a glow in the dark bracelet, & a sweet treat (while supplies last).

Below is an example, inspired by the book Anne of Green Gables.

The book truck left MANY, MANY awesome books…. with many characters & real life heroes to choose from!  We’ve got Kenobi from Star Wars, and a child’s biography of Martin Luther King, for example. Or, popular characters such as Curious George, Fancy Nancy, Amelia Bedelia, Otis, and Pig the Pug on our shelves… the possible friends are endless! 🙂
