What a GORGEOUS day for Country Christmas in Macksville!

So many festivities & activities! Here’s a glimpse into some of them, including the Library Open House, Story Time, & the Parade.

The Library’s Christmas Drawing & Book Sale is ongoing, with the drawing on Dec. 20th.

Come sign up for the drawing & check out our books (& more) for possible gifting ideas!  All proceeds are By Donation & benefit our Library Building Fund.

Cooper & Koy were excited to get their free Books for Babies (& toddlers) along with some fun Christmas toys. 🙂

During our Open House we signed up eight people for library cards, & one person renewed a State library card.  So exciting to welcome new patrons to all the possibilities that come with a library card!

During the afternoon, Macksville’s downtown hosted carriage rides, Santa, Mrs. Claus & elves, crafts, Story Time, plus hot cocoa & treats at SJN Bank.

Main Street was LOADED with cars for the big Parade!  It was wonderful to have so many entries, including live music from the MHS Band!

The evening ended with firepits & a community potluck, with meat, poppers & beans provided by Equity Bank.

Afterwards, it was the annual ticket drawing, & this librarian was thrilled to win a Hudson Cream Flour (book) bag! 🙂
