In this Universe of Stories summer, we have many STARS in our midst!

23 kids came to our 4th Summer Reading Story Hour.

Each participant created a 3-D star, personalized with their name, self-portrait, favorite things, & a quote.

We read the book, Pig the Winner, by Aaron Blabey & the book Moon’s First Friends by Susanna Leonard Hill.

The kids competed in a Spin-Off with outer space tops (congrats Devin, Riskin, Laney & Thomas)

And, if you check out our sidewalk before the NEXT rain hits… you can see the Macksville Walk of Fame! Each STAR has the name and handprints of a talented kid plus an emblem showing what they are going to be famous for one day (basketball, cats, even just smiling & making others happy!)
