Two special children’s books have been given to the Macksville City Library in memory of Joyce Loomis.

Both given by Bruce & Eileen Loomis, the bookplate in The Shy Little Kitten recalls Joyce’s love of kittens- especially “Tuffy!” and the dedication in Someplace to Call Home, a book set in the Great Depression, reads, in part: “This book about Kansas will make us think of you…”

Another children’s book that hit the shelves recently is Diary of a Wimpy Kid- Wrecking Ball.  This is the 14th book in the hugely popular Diary of a Wimpy Kid series by Jeff Kinney.  Drop by the library to check it out or to get on the wait list!
