Marcia Lawrence’s new book, Spirit of the Prairie tells the History of the Making of the Medicine Lodge Indian Peace Treaty Pageant.  This book, from Red Dirt Press, is an intriguing look at some local history with Macksville ties!

Our new book from Tomie dePaola is a classic for all ages. This special edition of Nana Upstairs & Nana Downstairs is based on a true story from the life of the author.  It has been given to the library in memory of “Blanche Hodson Hawes, ‘Grammy B,’ A special lady and a Great, Great, Great Grandmother at 109 years old.”
