Pinkalicious Fun!
KPTS – Channel 8 has partnered with 16 libraries in our area to offer screenings of Pinkalicious & Peterrific: Valentine’s Day Celebration.
The Macksville City Library was excited to share the brand new show with Kindergarten, First and Second Grade classes at Macksville Grade School. Kindergarten students watched the episode and made heart sticker collages.
First & Second grade students each decorated a pair of gloves along with a card stating: “I gLOVE U!” “Share the gLOVE!” or “Warm Hands… Warm Hearts!” A year ago, Pinkalicious & Peterrific premiered on KPTS. This animated series encourages children 3 to 5 to engage in the creative arts and self-expression, covering areas such as music, dance and visual arts. It’s based on the best-selling Pinkalicous book series by Victoria Kann.
“This show has been very popular on KPTS-Channel 8,” said Victor Hogstrom, President & CEO, KPTS. “We are very pleased to partner with libraries throughout Central Kansas to offer screenings of these new episodes and introduce Pinkalicous & Peterrific to new children.”
