Stay-At-Home: Library Closed- Wi-Fi & Website Available
Macksville City Library’s Temporary Policy
Effective March 30th-May 3rd
- As per Governor Kelly’s Stay At Home Notice, the Macksville City Library will be closed to the public through April 19th– now extended to May 3rd. (4/16/20)
- Our Wi-Fi will still be accessible for use outside the library.
- We encourage patrons to stay in their vehicles or to practice social distancing (a recommended distance of about 6 feet) when utilizing our Wi-Fi.
- Do not return overdue books until the Library is back open. (We do not issue late fees.)
- Visit Macksvillelibrary.com for access to free eBooks, audiobooks, online learning, Macksville history, local links, events & more.
- Check out our new “Stuck at Home? Tab for some amazing new resources being offered by vendors to help during these trying times.
- The Governor’s Order reads in part: “To preserve the public health and safety for all Kansans, and to ensure the healthcare system is capable of serving all citizens in need, especially those at high risk and vulnerable to COVID-19, all individuals within the state of Kansas are directed to stay in their homes or residences unless performing an essential activity.”
