If you offer it, they will come!  So far 53 kids have signed up for the summer reading program in Macksville.   We have met twice and have four more programs before the PARTY!  Lots of GREAT books have been checked out, and some super STAR reports are coming in as kids read the shiny, new non-fiction books we have, thanks to a summer reading grant from Dollar General. 

 Here are a couple pictures taken at our last program.  Pam Martin from the Kansas Wetlands Education Center brought along special nocturnal animals to show the kids.  We had a snake, owl & bat visiting our library!
