This summer we are going to Dream Big- READ!

• Who: Children 6th grade through Pre-K
• When: Mondays from 3:00-4:00pm (June 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th & July 2nd & 9th  with a party TBA)
• What: Stories, Crafts, Songs, Games, & Snacks
• Where: Macksville City Library– 333 N. Main
• Why: We strive to make reading FUN!  Readers are leaders, and kids need to keep reading over the summer to maintain the skills they achieved in school.  We want kids to DREAM BIG DREAMS– and reading is one way to help those dreams come true.   
• How:  We received a $2,000 Summer Reading Grant from Dollar General! Yippee!!!  With this money we are able purchase new books, instructional materials & incentives to better serve the children in our community.  We also rely on awesome guest speakers, snacks from board members, caring volunteers,  & grants from SCKLS & the State Library.
