Summer Reading = Officially Over
We had WONDERFUL sponsors who helped make it all possible:
Dollar General— we received a $2,125 Summer Reading grant for books, prizes, instructional supplies & technological advances (being installed now!). Golden Belt Telephone– a $100 donation for our grand prizes. Pratt Walmart– a $100 donation for snacks & prizes. SCKLS– a $100 grant. The Country Store– tokens for all who complete their Reading Logs.
And, speaking of reading logs, here are a few excerpts from the reading logs of our YA & Adult readers. They were asked to pick a quote they liked from the book OR to submit a seven word summary or brief review of the title.
Enjoy! Maybe you’ll find a title you want to check out soon. Just because Summer Reading is over, it doesn’t mean Fall Reading can’t become a ‘THING!’ Our Reading Adventure should NEVER end!

What will your next program be? I was sad that the summer reading program was over; now my summer fun is, too. But, I can’t wait for the next program!:)
Next year’s theme is Color Our World. We are so excited & already making plans for some awesome ART projects! Hope to see you there! 🙂
