Summer Reading 2020 is drawing to a close for the 6th grade & under group.  We Imagined Stories & crafted puzzles, sticker stories, magic wands, door-hangers, book ads & more. And, despite the social distancing, we enjoyed smiles, snacks & some awesome books along the way!

 Congratulations to our lucky winner of the fire 7 tablet! And, special THANKS to Golden Belt Telephone for making this prize possible!

Congratulations, also, to our TOP READER!  With 91 books read in 6 weeks, and recorded on ReaderZone, this literate lass received a special set of Little House on the Prairie books.

The books were donated to the library in 2009 by Jetta Wellman, a former librarian and centenarian, who loved libraries and sharing books with others —especially with the children of Macksville!

All participants are invited to drop by the library with their completed reading logs (or ReaderZone info) to get their certificate & pick up some awesome prizes & FREE books!

THANKS, also to the Pratt Walmart for the $100 gift of support for Summer Reading!  The prizes are all a BIG HIT!

Reminder: All Young Adults & Adults have until August 3rd to read five books & enter to win a Fire 7 Tablet from GBT (plus participation prizes AND other prizes to choose from for all who meet their goal!).
