Our 2023 Summer Reading Theme is: All Together Now

We have three age groups: Adult, Young Adult, and 6th Grade & Under.

The 6th & Under group runs from June 5th – July 10th.

Story-times will be on Mondays from 3:00pm-4:00pm.

All ages can sign up now & start reading!

Adult & Young Adult programs run from June 5th –August 2nd.

(Volunteers are welcome, if you want to help with the younger kids’ Story-Times/crafts/etc. Sign up at the library!)

This past week has been a time of Remembering…

On Sunday the 28th we hosted an Open House for anyone who wanted to stop in- & especially for those who were in town to attend the MHS Alumni Banquet that evening.  Lots of interesting Macksville Memorabilia was on display, & attendees had fun reminiscing. (We also set out some ‘new’ old photographs that have been donated recently… drop by & see if you can help us name the people & buildings in them! )

More Remembering took place on Monday at the Macksville Memorial Day service at Farmington Cemetery (photos above).

And, a Reminder for kids who participated in our Kids in the Kitchen program…  Keep sending in those photos. We have a bag of Hudson Cream Flour for all who follow a Recipe from their cookbooks (AND, it counts on your Summer Reading book log, as well!).

Summer Break is HERE!  A great time to Remember— and to make NEW Memories!
