Four kids were waiting at the door- ready for me to open the library today.  It’s nice when people are glad to see you (even if it’s partly because they want first dibs on the computers! Ha!). 🙂

When one kind soul helped me carry my load and saw the pumpkins I decorated last night (above), he suggested, “Shouldn’t it say ‘…And they lived Happily Ever After?‘”

 The gears were turning… made him think… Mission accomplished!

And living Thankfully Ever After is not just a Fairy Tale… Yes, it takes effort, but it is possible.  We at the Macksville City Library are so Thankful for our patrons, our community, our board members, and ALL who support this library and the work we do to provide materials and services for the education and enjoyment of this community.

We’re also thankful for the creativity and smiles of the kids who visit to check out a book, put together a puzzle, build a tower, color a picture, or even just to say, “Hello!”
