Video to Enjoy- Miss Petunia the Opossum
You can enjoy library programs from anywhere you have internet access!
This video has been shared by one of our favorite guest speakers, Pam Martin, from the Kansas Wetlands Education Center. Since Pam and Miss Petunia couldn’t visit the Macksville City Library this summer, we’re excited to be able to share this educational critter video. It begins with a skit of the Cherokee legend, “Why the Opossum has a Bare Tail” and is followed by a visit with the center’s Virginia Opossum, Petunia.
If you watch the video– tell our librarian a fun fact about Petunia, and you can earn some “Opossum Tail” licorice! 😉
I shared it on Face Book!
