The big, black, plastic wall is GONE- replaced now with a clear plastic barrier. And, even though this wall encroaches another couple feet into the library, the room doesn’t seem so small, as the light flows through!

If you’ve noticed in the existing library- the walls are covered in bumpy plaster. (One major reason we are reluctant to hang anything on the walls!)

It was encouraging to see drywall go up & the rooms take shape in the addition during week #14.

With the insulation covered, the echoes are back, but we don’t mind!

We’re dreaming of all the wall space, bookshelf space, programming space & display space that the new addition will provide!
