Week #20 began with the installation of WINDOWS in the new addition (and, not the computer kind 🙂 ).

Oh, how they brighten up the place! ♥

The new windows have eight panels up top, just like the windows in the original library.  And, for the first time EVER, we have views to the south of the library.

(Now, to raise funds for window treatments!)

Mid Week, we had our Christmas Drawing.  Winners were Edith, Gelias, & Juan. Thanks to all who signed up, added to our United tree Garland, & took home holiday goodies & ornaments.

             It was a week filled with visible progress in the addition, with hardware added to doors, concrete floors sanded, and interior steps constructed.

Add to that: outlets & switches, overhead LIGHTS, ducts & ductwork.

And, last but definitely not least– HEAT. As the outside temps dipped into the teens last week, it was a balmy 40 degrees in the addition, and one worker quipped that it “almost felt hot in there!“

Looking forward to warmer weather this final week of 2022.
