Week #28 began with the delivery of two tables & a book cart purchased courtesy of a $940.00 Community Grant from the South Central Community Foundation. 

This 2022 grant allowed us to acquire our very first Accessible & Organizational Furnishings for the new addition. 🙂

How exciting to have ‘kid-sized’ tables for our new children’s area!

Toddlers will be able to see what’s on top, & soon kids of all ages will be using them for crafts, coloring, puzzling, board games, & more.

And, the new book cart will be more than filled as soon as we begin transferring books to the new space!

Many Many THANKS  to the South Central Community Foundation, which is a regional foundation that manages charitable funds for seven counties in South-Central Kansas.

Other welcome additions to the library during week #28 involved new plumbing in our storm shelter restroom & kitchenette.

 Outside the library, some daring bulbs sent their first shoots up into the sunshine. (Hope the coming cold snap won’t get them!)

And, as week #28 came to close, two local Roblox players made plans to meet up on Monday for some computer fun… With the day off for P/T Conferences we’re happy to be part of their No School plans!
