The Builder was here one last time in Week #34. Our cabinet drawer face was installed, some door stops secured outside our exterior doors & other miscellaneous tasks.  The electrician also dropped by & adjusted our alley light to only come on during nighttime hours & our front light to come on when the switch is in the ON position, instead of only during the darkest hours.

We are not finished with the addition, but, besides the carpet being installed (hopefully next week!), we likely won’t need our contractor onsite. We still need to paint some door jambs & patched holes & other touch ups. We need to hang some special ART. And, of course, we need to organize ALL of the BOOKS & STUFF that the library has accumulated over the years.

Plus, we are still applying for grants and welcoming donations/memorials to help us purchase desperately needed items– window treatments & BOOK SHELVES being at the top of the list!

Thanks to Fie & Martha Loy for the donated metal shelf now in our closet (ready to be filled) & the cute little CUBBY that is storing our BOARD BOOKS until more sturdy shelves arrive. 🙂

We are making steady progress. And, the GRAND OPENING is just around the corner!
