In Week #36, the buds featured in last week’s post all bloomed!

And, we received the call that the carpet crew was finally heading to Macksville.

Thankfully, Mrs. Wolff’s FCCLA kids & other students were able to drop by the library and help with some heavy lifting.

Four computers, our AWE station, the computer carrel & the librarian’s desk all had to go so that carpet could be installed.

What would we do without students & groups willing to serve their community?!

One last game was played on the old carpet, & then the crews began.

They ripped out carpet & repaired holes in the flooring on Thursday. Then they put down a level coat of primer to dry.  On Friday they installed all of the carpet.  We were closed Saturday for cleaning & on Monday for computers to be reinstalled.

This coming week will feature LOTS of cleaning, moving, organizing & preparations for LOTS of future programming!
