CONGRATULATIONS to Madison & Eileen– our GRAND PRIZE winners in the 2021 Summer Reading program!  Now they can enjoy their favorite reads in the great outdoors with fashionable sun hats & sturdy new camp chairs!

Out of 5 Young Adult readers & 14 Adult readers who turned in reading logs by Aug. 2nd, these two lucky ladies’ names were drawn!

Huge THANKS to Golden Belt Telephone for their donation of $100 to support Summer Reading & literacy in Macksville!

And, the good news is– everyone who participated in Summer Reading is a winner!  Just bring your completed Reading Log to the library to receive your prizes.

   Thanks to generous grants & donations, we are excited to encourage participation & reward our patrons for taking part in this annual extravaganza! (one of our favorite programs all year long!)

 The Pratt Walmart donated $100 towards snacks & prizes for our youth & adult programs. The Country Store in Macksville donated tokens for fountain drinks for all who met their reading goals! 🙂

AND, Dollar General awarded us a grant of $1,225 for our Tales & Tails program.  (The coins you drop in the box at DG do add up!) With these funds, we were able to get incentives  (like stuffed kittens & puppies), instructional tools (like die-cut tools for crafts plus paw print pencils & erasers), technology (like cameras for check-out & teaching), & most importantly, many, many wonderful books that will be available for check out All Year Long!
