Young Adults & Adults Update
Please don’t feel forgotten, YA & Adult readers!
You may not be packed into the library for Story Times (Whew!), but we hope you are enjoying your Tales this summer!
And, like the younger readers, we have some fun prizes for YOU!
(See above some of the titles you can pick from for a free book- while supplies last. Choosing a title from our Book Sale is also an option!)
The Summer Reading program doesn’t end until August 2nd for YA & Adult readers. Turn in your reading logs by then to be entered in our prizes drawings!
Some reading logs have already been turned in, & here are some readers’ 7 word summaries & recommendations that might inspire your next read:
The Wonder Boy of Whistle Stop by Fannie Flagg: Towns die, but their spirits live on. (This book follows the popular: Fried Green Tomatoes)
The Whole Thing Together by Ann Brashares: Large divisions can be united in death.
Coconut Layer Cake Murder by Joanne Fluke: Solve a murder over plates of cookies! 🙂 (Recipes included!)
Also Recommended:
The Four Winds by Kristin Hannah: “Best I’ve read this year!” (Takes place during the Dust Bowl & the Great Depression)
The Seven Sisters series by Lucinda Riley… very popular among our readers this summer!
