What is October?  Opinions may differ, but it can be argued that October in Kansas is: Football, Volleyball, Cross Country, Soccer, Fall Harvest, Cool Nights, Leaves Changing, Clothes Swaps (where are my sweaters?!), Halloween & shorter days.

Nationally, October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month & Bullying Prevention Month (to name a few).

The month also features Fire Prevention Week (7-13), Character Counts Week (21-27), & Red Ribbon Week (23-31).

At the Macksville City Library you can find books & resources for all the things October is!  And- if you are one of  the first 12 people to come in & mention this post you can choose an item from our PINK OUT, Breast Cancer Awareness basket. 🙂
